This Earth Day, let's come together to do a little more, with an in-your-neighborhood spring clean up!

You're probably reading this because you love our Earth and want to make an impact this Earth Day. Well, friend, you're in the right place! π
This Earth Day, Mammoth has organized an In-Your-Neighborhood Spring Clean Up, and hundreds (if not thousands!) are taking part. Below you will find everything you need to know about the event, including:

THE TL;DR
Event Details:
- π Date: Monday, April 22nd, 2024 (Earth Day of course!).
- βοΈ Time: Any time convenient for you, your friends, or your work team
- π Location: Wherever you are on our beautiful planet π
The Gist:
- π Choose a location you, your friends, and colleagues can meet up
- β»οΈ Pick up at least 10 pieces of garbage per person
- π£ Share your haul on LinkedIn, and tag @Mammoth
- π Dispose of your haul properly
- π― Nominate 3 colleagues or friends to get out there and pick up 10 pieces of trash as well! The more the merrier!

What you'll need
- A few garbage and recycling bags - whatever you have at home should work!
- Protective gloves - use what you have at home (e.g. gardening or plastic gloves). If you need to purchase gloves, we recommend purchasing biodegradable gloves
- Closed-toe shoes, be safe!
- Water bottle, snacks, and good vibes βοΈ
Where to dispose
- Small (black) bags of garbage can go in city trash cans
- Small (blue) bags of recyclable materials (paper, plastic, aluminum, glass) can go in city recycling cans
- Larger hauls of garbage or recyclable material can go to your residential dump

What not to pick up
- Naturally occuring debris like twigs, leaves, and plants
- Heavy objects
- Hazardous or dangerous items (batteries, electronics, aerosol containers, needles/syringes, medical waste, propane tanks, etc.)
